Last night was Hollywood’s biggest night, also known as the 86th Academy Awards. This year’s red carpet did not disappointment, with many fashion and beauty hits and misses. Not only did the ladies bring it, but also actors like Matthew McConaughey, Jared Leto, and Leonardo DiCaprio brought their modern style to classic tuxedo silhouettes.

The best beauty looks of the night were those of Lupita Nyong’o, Margot Robbie, and Charlize Theron.

To say that Lupita Nyong’o was the belle of the ball would be an understatement. On the red carpet she radiated beauty and confidence. She wore a like blue Grecian inspired Prada gown that really popped against her flawless skin. The highlights of her makeup were her luminous skin, red-mauve lip color, and rosy cheeks.  What separates Ms. Nyong’o makeup look from most of the red carpet makeup looks last night?  Her skin looks natural and moisturized, not matte and dry. Congratulations to her on winning the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role (12 Years A Slave) and for looking fabulous the entire night.

It’s very bold to change your hair color for a night like the Oscar’s, but that is exactly what Margot Robbie did. Previously, Robbie hair was a light blonde color and she changed it to a chocolate brown color. Her hair was styled in retro waves, which was complimented by a classy vamp makeup look. She wore a black Saint Laurent gown by Hedi Slimane.
