A Review: Sugar Pill Cosmetics Pro Palette
When it comes to eyeshadow palettes, most are very similar. They focus on natural and neutral tones, with a few gold and bronze shades. Finding bright and colorful palettes can be difficult. The few brightly colored palettes available in stores are either cream shadows or the have poor color pay off. Sugar pill cosmetics makes the best brightly colored pressed eyeshadows, which is why I love their Pro palette.
This palette is a combination of three different Sugar Pill palettes: the Burning Hearts palette, the Heartbreaker palette, and the Sweetheart palette. All twelve shades are conveniently in one palette, which makes it so easy to travel with. Although the package is made with cardboard, it feels very substantial when you’re holding it in your hands. I purchased this palette at IMATS New York 2014 and it cost $80. Since each palette cost $34, if you get the pro palette you’ll save $22.
These eyeshadows are very high-quality. They blend well with minimal fall out and they are opaque. In fact, the red and purple shades even stain your lids a little. The white is very bright and is vivid on all skin tones.
If you think you don’t need this palette, you’re wrong. Even if you would never wear a lid full of neon colors, individually these shadows can be used to give a pop of color to more neutral eyeshadow looks. For example, use purple or blue for a cut crease instead of using gray or black.
Sugar Pill cosmetics currently does not have this palette listed on their website, however you can contact them for more information at info@sugarpill.net.
