Skincare routine for sensitive skin

There are so many lotions and cleansers on the market, choosing which products will work best for you can be difficult. If you have sensitive skin, trying new products always comes with the risk of breakouts, redness, and skin irritation. Instead of try hoping you won’t have a reaction, try some of my favorites that are effective and guaranteed not to break you out.

Dove Body Washes

All the Dove body washes are creamy and luxurious. They leave your skin feeling clean, moisturized, and smooth. My favorites are the Go Fresh Cool Cucumber and Green Tea, Deep Moisture, and the Gentle Exfoliation formulas. I usually apply them with a loofah or a washcloth. Each bottle cost about $5 and last for about a month. It’s more expensive then most drugstore body washes, but you skin will thank you for years to come.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin

I never used facial lotion when I was growing up. As I grew older I learned that oily body lotions were causing breakouts on my face. This is the first facial moisturizer I ever used and I love it. After you wash you face just apply two pumps and your skin will feel soft and look hydrated. There are many different formulas of this lotion including ones for combination skin and broad-spectrum sunscreen.

Bath and Body Works Eucalyptus Spearmint Body Wash and Foam Bath

When you need to relax, this is the body wash you should reach for. The smell is blissful and it won’t cause breakouts or allergic reactions. This isn’t the most moisturizing body wash however; it won’t strip your skin. This product can also be used for bubble baths.

 Noxzema Original Cleansing Cream

Whenever other acne products are taking to long I always come back to Noxzema. The smell is soothing and it doesn’t dry out your skin. For a deeper clean you can leave the cleansing cream on your face for 3 to 5 minutes like a mask.

 Nivea Essentially Enriched Body Lotion

Nivea Essentially Enriched body lotion is one of the best lotions available in any store. If you have dry sensitive skin, this lotion will magically make your skin moist for over 24 hours. It takes a while to sink in, but it’s worth the wait.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Grapefruit

The Grapefruit line from Neutrogena smell so good. Sensitive skin can’t handle all acne cleansers, but this one is gentle. I also use and like the original formula, but it’s not my favorite. The grapefruit acne wash gets all the oil build-up off your face and can even remove make up. It will help to get rid of pimples and it won’t cause irritation.
