My Current Skincare Wish List and Why I Want to Try Every Single Product
Every few months, I feel the urge to refresh my skincare routine. It is not that I need more products, although my bathroom shelf definitely disagrees, but discovering new formulas that promise brighter, smoother, healthier skin has become one of my favorite forms of self-care. Over the past several weeks, I have been putting together a wish list of products that genuinely excite me. Some of them target long-standing skin goals, others intrigue me with their ingredients or formulas, and a few simply sound like the kind of skincare treats that make my everyday routine feel a little more special.
Here is a closer look at everything I am hoping to add to my lineup soon and why each product earned a spot on my list.
1) Medicube Kojic Acid Line
Kojic Acid Turmeric Niacinamide Serum ($32)
Kojic Acid Turmeric Pad ($33)
Kojic Acid Turmeric Resurfacing Toner ($36)
Skin brightening products always catch my attention. This entire trio feels like a complete routine that focuses on improving tone and clarity. I have used kojic acid before and it has always helped with stubborn dark spots, although I have only ever used it as a single step in my routine. The idea of trying a full system that includes a kojic acid toner, serum, and treatment pads feels much more intentional.
The turmeric in these formulas adds another boost of radiance along with antioxidant support. Niacinamide is also included, which is one of those ingredients that virtually every skin type can rely on. I like the idea of using the toner to prep my skin, then following with the serum for a brightening effect, and finishing with the pads on days when I want extra exfoliation without harshness.
Most of all I appreciate that these three were designed to work well together, which removes all the guesswork from product layering.
2) CKD Retino Collagen Small Molecule 300 Guasha Neck Cream (50 mL, $29)
My face usually receives plenty of attention but my neck rarely gets the same level of care. I have been wanting to introduce a dedicated neck product into my routine and this one seems perfect. It contains a gentle retinoid to improve texture and firmness along with collagen for added support. The most interesting part is the gua sha style applicator that allows the cream to double as a relaxing massage tool.
Neck skin is delicate and tends to show signs of aging early. A formula that enhances firmness while remaining gentle feels like a smart choice. I also love the idea of ending my day with a cool, soothing massage that encourages better absorption and helps relieve tension. It sounds like a small daily ritual that could quickly become something I look forward to.
3) ilso Super Melting Sebum Softener ($31)
Blackheads have been one of my most persistent skin concerns. Many products that claim to treat them end up being too harsh or too drying. What draws me to this sebum softener is the promise that it melts through congestion rather than stripping the skin.
The concept of dissolving clogged oil instead of relying on pore strips or strong acids makes a lot of sense. I imagine using it as a pre cleansing step to loosen buildup so that the rest of my routine can work more efficiently. If it gives me fewer blackheads and smoother makeup application, it will absolutely be worth it.
4) House of Dohwa Rice Bran Powder Wash ($32)
This product speaks to my love for traditional beauty rituals. Rice bran cleansing has been used for generations in some cultures and this powder wash feels like a modern interpretation. I enjoy powder cleansers because they allow you to control the texture. You can create a rich paste for gentle exfoliation or a light foam for a simple morning cleanse.
Rice bran is known for brightening effects and mild exfoliation, which makes this a perfect option for starting the day with soft and refreshed skin. Using a product that mixes tradition with modern convenience feels meaningful and also adds a little fun to the process.
5) numbuzin No. 9 NAD RetinA Volume Shot Eye Cream ($21)
Eye creams vary widely. Some feel like plain moisturizers and others can be too intense for the delicate under eye area. This one interests me because it contains a retinoid along with NAD, which is known for supporting skin repair and cellular energy.
The price is very reasonable for an eye cream that promises to target fine lines and help with firmness. I am always looking for an eye cream that does more than simply hydrate, but I still want something gentle enough for daily use. If this one gives me smoother and brighter under eyes without irritation, it might become a permanent part of my routine.
6) VT Reedle Shot 100 Essence Set (50 mL, $32)
This is one of the most unique products on my wish list. The term reedle refers to micro cones that create tiny pathways in the skin in order to improve absorption and encourage renewal. It works somewhat like a very gentle at home microneedling treatment but without actual needles.
I have been wanting to try a spicule product for a while. They are known for helping with texture and dullness and they often give a mild tingling sensation that signals activity without being harsh. This essence seems like an ideal introduction. If it gives me a smoother surface and more radiance, I will be thrilled.
7) ILLIYOON Fresh Moisture Scrub Wash (400 mL, $30)
Body care often takes a back seat to facial skincare, but this scrub wash makes me want to improve my shower routine. ILLIYOON is known for gentle and moisturizing formulas, which makes this exfoliating wash especially interesting.
A product that cleanses the skin while also removing rough texture is incredibly practical. I imagine this being especially useful for keeping my arms and legs smooth and for helping to reduce ingrown hairs. The large size also means I can use it freely without worrying about running out too quickly.
8) Centellian24 Madeca Cream Time Reverse (50 mL, $80)
This is the splurge item on my list, but it feels justified. Centella asiatica products usually work wonders on my skin when it is stressed or irritated. The Madeca line has a strong reputation for improving the skin barrier and supporting anti aging benefits.
The Time Reverse version appears to be richer and more intensive than the original. I picture using it at night when my skin needs deeper nourishment or when it feels dull from over exfoliation or cold weather. It feels like the kind of product that can help reset the skin during tougher weeks.
9) MD’s Pick De Barista Fragrance Free UV Shield Hand Cream ($41)
I am not great at remembering to apply sunscreen to my hands even though they are constantly exposed to the sun. The idea of a hand cream that contains UV protection and is fragrance free sounds incredibly practical.
A non greasy hand cream that moisturizes and protects at the same time can turn a forgotten step into a daily habit. I plan to keep it in my bag and reapply throughout the day. If it helps keep my hands soft and shields them from sun damage, it will be an immediate favorite.
Final Thoughts
This wish list is a blend of innovation, tradition, targeted care, and small moments of self indulgence. Each product offers something different, whether it is brightening power, texture improvement, hydration, or a sensory experience that makes skincare feel like a ritual. As someone who enjoys exploring how skincare can support both skin health and relaxation, I am excited to eventually try each item.
If even a few of these products deliver on their promises, I imagine my routine becoming more effective and a lot more enjoyable.
