Is the Patrick Ta Highlighter worth the hype (or money)?
The Patrick Ta highlighter was probably one of the most highly anticipated beauty launches of the year. Since their blushes and bronzers are amazing everyone assumed the highlighter would be a hit.
Well, we all know what happens when you assume.
Some people are impressed, while others are disappointed.
My full review is available below. Spoiler alert: I love it.
In order to determine whether this highlighter is one you should get let’s start with the cons:
-The cream highlighter melts easily
-Both products are needed for the best results
-It has a high-end price tag
The most controversial part of this product has been the cream highlighter section of the 2-part highlighter. Some people felt as if it was “goopy” and other people felt like theirs melted during the shipping process. I like that the cream emulsifiers easily because it makes it easier to apply. I have no problem paying $40 for a highlighter however, there are so many drugstore highlighters that are really good.
Here are some of the things I love about this product:
-It lasts for 10 hours on a sweaty face in the summer heat without primer or setting spray
-Has a flexible shade range that works for different skin tones
-It looks beautiful on the skin
-You can create a natural highlight or a blinding glam highlight
I have never had a highlighter last on my face in the summertime for 10 hours. That alone had me sold. The shade “Honey” looks gorgeous on my skin and coordinates with all my favorite blushes. I am probably going to go back and get another shade. I am most interested in Sugar and Baby.
