Winter Wishlist 2023
It’s the most wonderful time of the year 🎅🏾.
I am absolutely obsessed with Christmas, is it my favorite time of the year. Although I make wish lists all year round this one is extra special because it is right before my favorite holiday. There are so many beauty and skincare goodies I want to get. This list has some of the things I have my eye on.
In 2024, I want to get back into makeup for real. I am still going to take care of my skin, but I do miss wearing a full face of makeup. I’ve discovered so many new brands and companies so I want to try them out. I also want to prefect a sweaty girl makeup routine so I can share it on YouTube. 1) Orange Blush
Orange is my favorite color and I love orange makeup, I have orange lipstick and eyeshadow but I do not have an orange blush. I’m aiming for a cream formulation of orange blush so it will look more skin-like and less clown like. These are 2 orange blushes I am very interested in:

2) Fancy Fragrance
I like smelling good. Wearing my favorite perfume can literally change the trajectory of my day. If I’m mad, wear some perfume. If I am having a bad, it’s time for more perfume. My current signature scent is Chanel Gabrielle however, I want to try something new. Here are some of the perfumes I am most interested in:

3) Upgrade My Skincare Routine
Right now my skin needs a pick me up. It’s oily, dry, and is losing it’s luster all at the same time. I had stopped using some of my old serums and the new products I am trying are not working. I need results so I have been researching some products I think will actually work. These are the first products I want to try:

4) The Latest In Skincare Tech
Since I have sensitive skin I usually stay away from spa treatments. One facials left me with burns all over my face so now I don’t get them done often. Now, I want to find a way to get the benefits of spa treatments but not the bad reaction. I feel like lights can’t break me out so I want to try one of these new lights masks. People claim that they do wonders for their skin. It’s a big investment so I need to do more research.

5) Full Face
I’m bringing full coverage back. My foundation-free era was fun but I am ready to be full glam. Well, at least until summer. I want a long-lasting foundation with medium coverage. It is vital that the formula works with oily sensitive skin. After reading and watching hundreds of YouTube reviews I have narrowed it down to these 4:

6) Eye Deserve Nice Things
Never have I ever liked single-eye shadows. Please give me a palette because I need options. I am willing to pay what it costs for great palettes because they are worth the investment. In order to properly wear full glam makeup I need the best eyeshadow and I need glitter. Here are some of thepalettes I am currently considering:

7) Dive Into Drugstore
Drugstore makeup has really been stepping it up. Dare I say the drugstore releases are more talked about then the high-end ones at this point. I am learning about new products every day on Instagram. These are the top 2 I want to try:

8) Brand New to Me
Maybe I have been under a rock but there are so many new makeup brands. They are bright and colorful. I have been hearing a lot of good things on YouTube and podcasts about these 3 brands so I want to try them:
9) More Makeup Brushes
I hate washing makeup brushes frequently so I need to buy more makeup brushes. I try to only buy brushes that last so I don’t buy just any makeup brush. My favorite brush brands are MAC Cosmetics, E.l.f, Sigma Beauty, and Sephora Collection. To grow my collection I am checking out these sets.
