A Review: Clarisonic Mia 2 on Sensitive Skin
Glowing clear skin is what everyone wants. There are so many products and gadgets; it can be hard to find what works best for your skin type. The processes you should be doing to your skin daily are cleansing, exfoliating, toning, and moisturizing. All these steps will help remove dirt, oil, and dead skin cells, which can all cause breakouts.
The Clarisonic Mia 2 is designed to take care of cleansing and exfoliation. This cleansing brush uses sonic technology to deeply clean your skin. This brush doesn’t spin, vibrate or pull your skin. Instead the brush moves side to side really fast. It can be purchased at Ulta, Sephora, QVC, and Clarisonic.com. The Mia 2 cost $150 however, if you buy it on QVC it’s only $136.24 and it comes on six easy payments.
I have used this brush with the normal, sensitive skin, and deep cleaning brush heads. The level of exfoliation it provides is perfect and it doesn’t splash water or soap in your eye. I have extremely sensitive skin and it has never caused my to have a reaction. I only use it once a day and I prefer to use it before I go to bed, that way it can remove all my makeup. I’ve tried many different gel and crème cleansers with the Mia 2 and they all work well.
This product is definitely a splurge. Although I love how it makes my skin look radiant every day, I can’t say that you wouldn’t achieve the results with the cheaper Mia 1 ($99) or a drugstore product. Most stores where this brush is sold will let you return it no problem, so it’s worth a try. After two years I can that I have seen improvement in my skin and I experience less breakouts.
