Sephora Collection Transparent Brow Gel Waterproof, $12

This brow gel is anything but transparent. It applies clear, but then it dries white. From far away your eyebrow hairs looks gray and close up they look clumpy and hard. If you’re trying to save money on eyebrow gel, use an old mascara brush and some hair gel. If you’re looking for an eyebrow gel that works and dries clear, try Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel.

Makeup Forever Aqua Cream #20, $23

Unlike most cream eyeshadows, this one is oily and makes a mess. It creases after about 4 hours and it’s very hard to blend eyeshadows on top of it. Although the colors are very unique, you have to invest a lot of time to blend this product out evenly. The Maybelline Color Tattoos are great; they come in similar colors, and only cost $5.

NYX Incredible Waterproof Concealer CS10 Yellow, $5

The purpose of yellow concealer is it block blue/purple tones in the skin. This product is hard to use because it never dries instead it mixes with your skin tone concealer creating a mess. An alternative for this product is NYX HD Photogenic Concealer; it is also $5 and dries to a natural matte finish.

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick, $6

These lipsticks are very moisturizing and that’s the best thing about them. The problem with these lipsticks is that they are packed with glitter flex and are not opaque.  If you try to wipe off the lipstick, the glitter stays on your lips. If you’re looking for a drugstore lipstick try Revlon’s Super Lustrous Lipstick.
