Mac Warm Neutral Eyeshadow Palette Review

Eyeshadow is one of the types of products that I usually don’t splurge on. However this palette was too good of a deal to pass up.  Costing $100, this is a very expensive palette. However, the average price of one MAC eyeshadow (in the pan with no container) is $10, meaning this palette is worth $150.

The quality of these eyeshadows is amazing. I experienced no fallout, even with the shimmery and glittery colors. My preference is for warmer color eyeshadows, so I choose this palette over the cool version MAC also came out with. Other eyeshadow palettes, like Urban Decay’s Naked 2 palette, are not pigmented enough for those with deep or dark skin tones to use all the colors in the palette. These MAC eyeshadows are so pigmented and look vivid against any skin tone.

Matte shades like “Dance in the Dark” and “Saddle” are the most pigmented and last the longest out of all the shades, they are my favorites. Some of the other eyeshadow finishes included in this palette are satin, frost, veluxe pearl, velvet, and lustre. Since this is a warm neutral palette it may be similar to palettes you already own. If you don’t want to spend $100 on eyeshadow, try the palette at your local MAC store and purchase only 4 or 6 of the colors you like the most, which should cost you about $40 to $60.

Hopefully MAC will make these palettes permanent and come out with more pre-assembled palettes.
