New York Fashion Week Fall 2025 was not short on interesting looks and fun takes on classic looks. Below are some of the looks that are inspiring my next hair style.

1) The Bob is back

Yes, you heard that correctly the bob is back. What I loved about the bobs from Fashion Week is that they all had different styles. Some were super short, other were super long, and there were even bobs with layers. There were different colors and textures, which made me really want to get a bob. It will be interesting to see how this look is worn this summer and upcoming fall.

2) Layers on Layers

Everyone on Tik Tok is cutting layers into their and I have been influenced. The Kash Doll layers are going viral because they look gorgeous. They frame your face and they make your wigs look more realistic. These layers look good on every face shape and on every hair color. Whether it’s a side part or a center part it looks beautiful and elegant. I don’t want to chop up bundles but I may have to for the plot.

3) Asymmetrical Parts

Center parts have reigned supreme for the last couple of years. This fashion week the most popular parting was the asymmetrical style. Long and short styles all had non-traditional partings that not only add visual interest but it the layers look really cool. I will be trying this look.

4) Low ponytails

At New York Fashion Week Fall 2025, low ponytail hairstyles emerged as a prominent trend, offering a blend of sophistication and simplicity. Designers like Altuzarra showcased models with twisted low ponytails that exuded both elegance and ease. Street style enthusiasts embraced this look, often enhancing it with accessories such as gold pony cuffs, adding a touch of luxury to the classic style. This resurgence of the low ponytail underscores its versatility and enduring appeal in contemporary fashion.

At New York Fashion Week Fall 2025, curly and wavy hairstyles made a significant impact, blending natural textures with artistic flair. Designers like Anna Sui showcased models with full, elevated bangs and bouncy curls, drawing inspiration from vintage pin-up aesthetics. Similarly, The Blonds featured retro finger waves and sculptural curls, adding a touch of glamour to their collections. These styles highlighted the versatility and enduring appeal of curly and wavy hair, setting the tone for upcoming trends.
