A Review: Shea Moisture Super Fruit Complex 10 in 1 Renewal System Shampoo and Masque
Creating a “hair regimen” is something that can only be done by trial and era. I wanted to try a more natural approach because my hair has been very dry. I started doing more research about affordable natural hair brands and many YouTubers loved Shea Moisture. Originally I was going to try there cleansing conditioner but then I saw they had so many products I wanted to try them all.
First I went to CVS looking for the Jamaican Black Castor Oil line but I could not find it. So I went to Ulta and found the Super Fruit Complex shampoo and hair masque. I was able to get the masque for free with my reward points. Both products have a great fruity smell that isn’t too strong. I was skeptical about the shampoo because it didn’t create suds after my first wash, but it did for the second and third. My hair felt so clean and moisturized that I immediately trashed my other shampoos.
After I washed my hair I applied the Super Fruit masque and wore a plastic cap to let it sit for 30 minutes. I combed through my hair at the end of the 30 minutes and my hair was easy to detangle. Once I washed the masque out my hair, it felt moist and looked shiny. For the first time in months my hair was more manageable and not dry. I didn’t even need to flat iron my hair after I blow-dried it in order for it to be straight.
If you have dry scalp and dry hair I would highly recommend these products. Also for those with multiple textures in your hair, these products work great on relaxed hair and natural roots.
