Is virgin hair for you? I say yes!

It seems like the latest crazes in black hair care are virgin hair weave and full lace human hair wigs. I don’t know much about human hair wigs (yet) but I do know that virgin human hair for weaving is a good investment for someone who mostly wears weaves all year round.

I usually wear hair weaves from the end of August until June. During this period of 11 months I usually have about 6 or 7 “intsalls” (a nickname for when they install your weave).  Before, when I was wearing beauty supply hair, I would spend $80 each time for two packs of Milkway Hair.

I would get one pack of 12 inch hair and one pack of 14 inch hair. These prices are for straight hair, curly or wavy hair would cost more money. That comes out to $480 to $560 a year. Once I bought hair, I would wear it for 8 weeks, then through it in the trash. The hair would be a tangled knotty mess and was not reusable.

My virgin hair cost about $420. Since this hair can last for a year I won’t need to purchase any more hair. The hair never gets matted and rarely tangles or sheds. This hair can be colored to your specifications unlike beauty supply store hair.

I purchased three bundles of hair, about how much you will need for a full head. The lengths of my bundles are 20 inch, 22 inch, and 24 inch. I left the hair in its natural color that way it would match my leave out. The hair I use is from Lozo’s Virgin Hair Company. I am currently wearing the Brazilian natural wave texture. I have previously worn their Brazilian body wave hair and I loved it.

Update: I originally wrote this post in about 18 months ago. I still have the hair and it still looks great. I recently made a second purchase of virgin hair from Lozo's Virgin Hair.
