Spring Wishlist 2024

The best season is here! Spring means new beginnings and a fresh start. If you want to shake up your beauty routine this is the time to do it. Below are some of the new products I want to try out.

1) Supergoop Protec(tint) Daily SPF Tint SPF 50 Sunscreen Skin Tint with Hyaluronic Acid and Ectoin, $44

My skin looks great because I have been wearing SPF protection almost every day for over 4 years. A product that contains sun protection and coverage is what I need to start the summer. I usually skip these kinds of products but I am a Supergoop super fan so I want this. I think I am Shade 34C but it is hard to tell. I wish they had more deep and dark shades.

2) Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Hue Drops Sun Glow Serum, $35

One of my favorite things about summer is how great my skin looks when I have a tan. Until I get tan, I need some help. Right now I’m using Supergoop Glow Screen. The Watermelon Glow Drops seem to have more active ingredients that will help my skin. I’ve seen so many great reviews and I want to see if the hype is real.

3) Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Mattifying Water Powder Serum with Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid, $36

In my years of wearing makeup, it has been very difficult for me to find a product that truly controls my oily t-zone. My nose oil and forehead oil have won against every face product I ever tried. If this water powder serum works, it will change my life.

4) Pixi On The Glow Blush, $18

Blush continues to be one of my favorite products to try right now. This blush in particular has a super easy application method. Most of my blush that’s liquid or cream takes a lot of blending to apply correctly. The Pixi blush has a unique packaging that looks like it should make it easier to apply the product. The shades I want to try are Juicy and Cheek Tone (pH changing shade).

5) Pixi On The Glow Bronzer, $18

If you could see my face right now you would tell me to apply some bronzer. I look pale and I need some sun. Since I want to try the blush, it only makes sense that I try the bronzer. I think the shade Rich Glow would go best with my skin tone.

6) Naturium Marine Hyaluronic Water Cream, $20

During the spring and summer, I opt for a water gel moisturizer. I find them to be more lightweight and cooperate better with my sweaty face. My new favorite fall/winter moisturizer is Naturium’s Marshmallow Root Barrier Balm. So I want to try the water cream.

7) Naturium Niacinamide Serum 12% Plus Zinc 2%, $17

I am still on the search to find a drugstore serum that works on my hyperpigmentation. I have been loving the other products I have tried Naturium so it’s time for me to start trying out their serums. Their Niacinamide Serum is highly rated so I figured that this is a good place for me to start.

8) Dove Melanin Even Tone Body Wash, $13

Body care products are having a moment right now and I am trying them all. I am specifically looking for products that help get rid of my KP and get rid of dark marks. Dove is pretty much the only body wash that doesn’t cause my skin to be dry so I want to check this product out.

9) Huda Beauty Faux Filler Shiny Non-Sticky Lipgloss, $19

I am in my lip gloss era and I really want to try this lipgloss out. The shades I want to try the most are Bombshell and Glassy. I am very interested to see how this lip gloss compares to Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb. Normally I love Huda Beauty products so I hope to get my hands on these.

10) L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Pressed Night Moisturizer with Retinol and Niacinamide, $37

I have been researching more information about Retinol to help improve my skin. I have sensitive skin so I am very cautious when trying new products. What made me interested in this product was the education information that was included on the product page for Target. They explain how to start gradually using the product to make sure your skin doesn’t have a bad reaction. Also, there are over 1K reviews and the rating is 4.5 so it has to be good.
